Dennis Connolly - AI/ML Solution Architect

Dennis Connolly is an AI/ML Solution Architect at Dakota Systems with over thirty years of experience in Computer Science and Software Engineering with an emphasis on Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. Track record of innovation and well engineered solutions to complex problems in fields ranging from military research to commercial software development.

Dennis has focused his career on specializing in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. Since 1997, Dennis has been applying these and other innovative technologies such as Semantic Web and Crowdsourcing to complex business problems. Recent projects include extraction of content from images of legal documents using deep learning, development of chatbots/virtual assistants, and automatic product classification and taxonomy discovery using Bayesian models.

Prior to Dakota Systems, Dennis conducted AI, Machine Learning, and Natural Language Processing research at AT&T, the Mitre Corporation, and Wang Laboratories. In addition to AI, this work included Intelligent Interfaces, Data Mining, and Compiler Development, and resulted in several patents. Prior to this work, Dennis studied Physics at Loyola University and participated in High Energy Particle Physics at Argonne National Laboratory
