Altova MapForce for Developers

Description

This class is delivered as a custom workshop covering advanced data mapping with Altova MapForce®. The main focus of the class is to understand how best to develop maps in MapForce that can be easily supported once deployed.

This session will introduce MapForce which has emerged as the standard mechanism to map large volumes of relational and XML data. With MapForce you will learn how to use the any-to-any graphical data mapping, conversion, and integration tool that maps data between any combination of XML, database, flat file, EDI, Excel, XBRL, and/or Web service, then transforms data instantly or auto-generates royalty-free data integration code for the execution of recurrent conversions. Emphasis will be placed on learning by discussing a predefined set of instructional examples. Additionally, this session will explore the current state of XML mapping technology and identify promising areas for its applications.
