Description
This class will help business managers articulate the long-term advantages of converting corporate data repositories to a Single Source Publishing environment in order to build a suitable business case to get projects off the ground. The course material will outline the many cost savings and revenue generation opportunities created by managing enterprise data directly in a Single Source Publishing environment. Although most IT managers have been exposed to the benefits of single sourcing, many still have difficulty justifying the expense of converting their corporate data to XML. Upon completing this class, students will be able to return their organizations with the tools to calculate the expected ROI on projects, estimate total project implementation costs, identify project risk factors and develop a strategy for presenting results.
